Should I get a White or Black iPhone?

No doubts about it in my mind. How gutted will you be when your shiny pristine white iphone gets a bit grubby?
The black will stay looking cool.

There's surely no choice here? Pay that little bit more and get Apple to create you the 'Hot Pink' one we all know you really want!

Despite the overwhelming leaning towards a black iphone I am sorely tempted with the white version. I will have to see what the actual 'in your hand' impression is. I am seriously hanging on the news feeds waiting for that precious O2 announcement now.

Well the forum rule has been extended to O2. They have made our decision for us by NOT stocking the white version. It is good that the agonising decision has been taken out of my hands.

So when I go mugging I should go exclusively for the BLACK ones!- Better chance of landing the 16gig model.

Its not nearly as bad as the old white headphone "Look at me I've got an ipod in my pocket" issue tho.

White iPhones are showing signs of the plastic casing cracking in high use areas around the buttons and headphone socket. I am glad that O2 picked Black only and the Forum cleverly elected for me to buy a Black model too!
