Hello everyone,

The version 4 of the website is now live which should fix a problem with viewing the web galleries in firefox 3.0.1 and other more modern browsers. I am having some problems with the Travel Gallery where it is not updating correctly though I have no idea why because it is working just fine on my local machine. If you are very observant you will notice that the Travel Index page has a different style of photographs when compared to the other sections.

I will try and revise that this morning before I go to work but it otherwise works, its just annoying!

Let me know if you find any problems. I found one, it crashed safari on the iPhone when you view the web galleries! That is dumb aint it.

The Travel section has been fixed now. The forum remains the same design to make updating easier!

Erm I think I have done something very wrong with my new version of the website! I think any fix will have to wait till Sunday evening before I can look at repairing it. Oh well!

Well I discovered what the problem was. The computer had decided to go to sleep whilst still uploading the wesbite and all of the media, css and nav bar parts of the site were missing on the server. After setting it going again last night and double checking this morning we seem to be back and running smoothly. I think I will call this version 4.1 due to the mess I made of 4.0 release .

There are some new galleries on show too, Rutland Water and in the new Wedding's section there is a gallery called Hibbert's Stag Do.

I have also noticed a couple more errors with the site which is annoying. The red title text under each event in Weddings is the wrong size and a couple of the galleries in the travel section are still showing the made on a mac symbol at the bottom. Doh! Eventually I will get this right.

Suppose it will be easy to wrap all those things up with publishing Mr and Mrs Hibbert's wedding photographs later on today!

Updated to add a link to the forums from the main pages (following a comment from Chrissie saying she could not find the forums anymore!). Now all I need to do is get on with getting the navigation bar at the top of this forum so you can go back again!

Updated. Added a new section that can be found here. It has a video of the 4D scan sent through as a gift from my Mum, Dad and Sister, Brother-in-Law and Nieces! Thanks people, hope you enjoy the show.

New Year's Eve 2008 photographs. It was nice and easy to create this photogallery, especially with the scary eyed Joker as our tag line.

I am hoping that Lizzie's Birthday O'Nine gallery will be published in the next couple of hours. I am leaving the computer running and uploading the files from iWeb 09 to the website. It is the first time I have used this FTP upload so I hope that it works okay! Otherwise it will have uploaded all the files but in the wrong place. . . . time will tell. I guess it will take a while as it has taken about 20 minutes to do about 7-12% of the upload (I only have a very small pie chart for reference).

After accidentally publishing the website to the wrong folder and having to re-upload it all again Here is the Lizzie O'Nine Gallery with photographic evidence of Phil and Al singing! More Phil singing photographs that Al but still, good effort gents. Hope that is okay for your Mum Bambi. . . .

Architecture Section updated with information about Arca's Silver Cafe that I worked on during my employment there. It is a nice building and just been graced with a Manchester Design Award in 2009.

The Front page, Architecture page, Events page and Travel page have been updated with some new photographs. Now that I have some camera batteries that work I will hopefully have lots more photographs to share.

You might have to empty your temporary internet files (or cache) for some of the changes to take effect.

This is a School designed by Sue Emms with Math Hird, Mike Davenport, Tracey Ferguson (amongst others that I don't know). The School was delivered by yours truely with the help of Mike Davenport and Mark Evans.
