special rankings

I think you could put in some more 'Special rankings' to spice things up a bit. Am I nearing any ranking yet with 34 posts Mr Riley?

There are several special rankings but I have not decided why they are there yet! Thusly I think I need an occasion to award a ranking. . . .
You are about 14 posts off gaining a rank, this being based on the 36 you have already.

How about we have custom titles, and keep the ranking system? I've seen it done on other boards.

I don't know you can do that with this forum system. If you point me in the direction of the forum you have seen it on I will have a look and see what I can do.

Actually, how about the titles getting more insulting with higher post-counts? Or are they supposed to reward posting in some strange roundabout way?

That's a different spin on the ranking theme, could be interesting but as site moderator, I'm sure Mr Riley would have to rank nicely

Wow! just noticed on your forum index page, you've had 999 articles posted, you could celebrate 1000 with your 'Special Rankings'. That way you have a special reason to instate them

You never did the washing up so there is no title available! But is was also a ploy! :D
