Aim of the module. Rescue the Cleric.

Status: Mission Failed.

Oh dear.

Excuse: Bugbears had never intended to let him go and he was killed by an acid eating Monster. Ahem. That might be described as slightly economical with the truth. For all intents and purposes though the total truth (he hopes the can not cast detect Lie spells). It just omits the sequence of events being in the right order (or related in any way).

if gibson was as intelligent and wise as he no doubt believes, he would not have hired first level characters to do a third level character's mission. there must be more to this than we have been told, otherwise all the town has really lost is an irritating cleric to play the master of ceremonies at their church feat.

I think that we are fast getting an infamous reputation and being dubbed The Ghoul was not a very auspicious start.

Now we have a semi-vampire in out midst. Eek. Let's hope he does not get peckish during our sleepy time! I wonder if he will burst into flames when the sun comes out!

Fez, is it a definite that you will be starting a new character. Are you not tempted to guide this unfortunate soul to goodness? After all he has not demonstrated uncleanness yet and it would be a good idea for you to be on hand to stop him if he got bite-y tendancies!

I am liking this new adventure. Less hack 'n' slash and more thought. It is odd really, the mission is to save one, potentially two, innocent people and catch a thief and possibly a separate murderer. Good fun to be had by all! :-D

Another epic fail.

Mission. Go to Eylea and find a murderer.

Actual events. Went to Eylea, found murderer, let him escape and steal our youth. Murderer and others destroyed the ruling elite of Eylea and instituted a rule of fear and evil. We made a vampire and subdued a Black Dragon. Now one of our group looks likely to be crowned the next Lord High Spiritual. Sounds more like a coup than a help and rescue. I bet the Baroness who asked us to help will be a bit cheesed off to say the least.

I suppose it could be said that we are nearly Heroic, after all we did help to stop the evil once it had started. I wonder if the conspiracy theorists will say that we started the Evil regime and then pretended to kill ourselves in a 'recapture' attempt and in the process removed the actual law and order.

In terms of minimal fuss, re-instating Killanus would probably be the best option once the module has been completed. On the other hand, a change could be good for this place, especially when we have found the hidden ore mines and start earning the place a mint!

Has anyone actually managed to complete this module without the Lords Spiritual being killed?

Coup completed. Cro Magnum is now the new Klavados, new lords spiritual appointed. Nice epic fail there.

On a plus point we did manage to get all the peasants restored. A partial redemption. Now we are off to try and kill the baddie (who fled) and drain the marshes.
