Ooh, don't know... exploring can be dangerous. Dangerous I tell you!

How much exploring do you think you are going to be able to do in 12 hours a month?! I think it will take me at least 6 hours a month to get the expedition going and then another 12 1/2 hours travelling too and from the Villa to make it really worth while.

I'm genuinely thinking of applying. why the hell not? If you're remotely tempted then you should too!
Whats the worst that could happen? You get the job.

According to the Metro the website advertising the job crashed because they had something like 40,000 hits - there could be a bit of competition for that job!!

I have a feeling I've heard that line before............
I'd have to spend the extra wages on sunblock!

The job has gone. Neither I nor Phil managed to land this one. Oh well, better luck next time!

It's an outrage that the job has gone to someone who looks like Boris Johnson's lovechild.

There is an article in the Daily Mail today written by someone who had a job like this. He gave up after four months because it isn't the idyllic paradise that we think it is. He describes it more like a nightmare....

I would just have to motor through the pain till the end of the time. Lets be honest, its better than a 8 till 6 in smoggy, smelly Manchester.

For £75k I'd certainly find a way to deal with it. Besides, he'll get used to all the bugs and spiders and stuff, plus get fitter in the process.

It was actually the in-fighting of the locals that was the problem, all very nasty from the sounds of it. Nothing idyllic about small, isolated populations.
