Wolfram Alpha is now live! It is quite interesting. For example if you put in your birthday it automatically calculates the number of years, weeks, days you have been alive. Quite interesting. I will try it as a search engine for a while to see if it is better than Google.

I don't think that it is a standard search engine but will see how different it is and if it can help me find information on the web.

Hmm. Seems to be a sort of computational engine for formulas and general data. That must be pretty cpu-intensive at the server end, but I like the idea.
