This is now ell under way and ADAPS was there last night. You can now see the Superintendent's Flat, the Turkish Baths, as well as the outbuildings and even the tunnels under the baths. Well worth a visit on one of their open days, even better as a private group with more general access.

Re: Victoria Baths Restoration
I take it the lady above is not one of the tour guides then?
Good to hear the restoration's coming on nicely as well.

Re: Victoria Baths Restoration
She was holding still for 10 seconds, which is not easy to do! It was so dark that in some areas the exposure was up to 30 seconds.

Given the content of post 1, this quote could easily be taken the wrong way!johnriley1uk wrote:in some areas the exposure was up to 30 seconds.

Re: Victoria Baths Restoration
So she held still for 10 seconds on a 30 second exposure. Well that would explain it then . . .

Re: Victoria Baths Restoration
I can see that I am now in Deep Trouble, and sinking rapidly.
Re: Victoria Baths Restoration
I'd noticed that her face looked slightly blurred compared to the rest of the image, so what you've said about the long exposure times (!) makes sense now.
Wouldn't say she looked cross, more like she was concentrating very hard. That said, some people's natural eyebrow shape makes them look cross all the time anyway.
