We were photographing butterflies today, for the firsy time. Here's an image of an Owl Butterfly:

Wow, the detail is amazing! I never knew their eyes could look like that? Nice work!

The shapes on those wings have some eerie depth to them. No wonder they freak out predators.

Were you out at dusk? It looks pretty dark in the background.

It was a very dark corner of the Butterfly House in Lancaster, so the butterfly has been lit by flash, making the background even darker.
