Very bizarre, hardly one of his masterpieces!

It is a world recognised symbol though so he managed to do what they wanted!

I certainly didn't know! There's a good argument for that being one of his masterpieces, just maybe not in the field he's most famous for.

The new Starbucks logo can be found here. It's a video but you don't have to wait too long to see it. To be honest the new logo is not too interesting. It's very similar to the previous one to be honest. What do you all think?

Not particularly ground breaking in my humble opinion.

Mac OS X finder icon inspired by Picasso? It's an interesting link. The finder icon and the Picasso painting are shown in the article so you don't need to be familiar with OSX to enjoy the comparisson.

The Starbucks logo wasn't supposed to be too different, I think - not really a rebranding, just getting rid of the coffee bit to allow it to be used in their pending expansion towards world domination. I'd never even realised it was a twin-tailed siren...

The Picasso icon is the reason why copyright lawyers will be in business for a while yet. How would you be able to prove that something so simple to draw was deliberately copied from a small part of a painting? More of a homage, perhaps?

Maybe Starbucks are planning something like this [Tesco vs Denmark].
