The big missing statistic? In my humble opinion the statistic missing is the number of people (residents) within these areas, without this number you can not look at the crime committed per person which is the averaging factor needed to bring an element of comparison to all these numbers.
Loosly it looks like the closer to a town centre you are the more crime you are likely to experience with Stockport being particularly bad! I wonder how long it would take for these to update and fluctuate. Feel free to post your local figures.

Re: Police Crime Map
Interesting.
It doesn't reflect that the crime around Hazel's house includes murders, shootings, bombs.....all in an average day there.
Violent crime here is a slightly cross old lady hitting a paperboy over the head with a leek. Possibly.

All crime and ASB 613
Burglary 71
Anti-social behaviour 201
Robbery 14
Vehicle crime 56
Violent crime 63
Other crime 208
Ooh er missus. I'm blaming some of the adjacent areas for skewing the statisitics.

It's under the "neighbourhood" section I think.Mike wrote:The big missing statistic? Nicely spotted mr_e, I have updated the post to include the rates. In summary this changes how you look at the statistics. Volume vs rates are as follows
