It's worth a read once a week, if you only get something out of it once a month or so. It's that Martin guy - can't remember his surname - who goes on programmes like This Morning and shouts at people :x for ever, ever paying interest on credit cards because you should do free balance transfers etc etc.
I know this isn't a website but the Alvin Hall book ''Your money or Your Life'' is well worth a read. It cost ?6.99 and is excellent value. Those of you that know me, know I am a fair bit of Scrooge with my money at the moment but even he surprised me with some of his advice. I have followed a number of his tips and have saved a decent amount of money on stuff like my mortgage.

Following my agreement with Fez over the fact that comic book villains are much cooler than comic book heroes, I had a quick glance at the internet and found this very comprehensive website that must be viewed by anyone who wants and information on the baddies.

For some reason, this website annoys me, mostly because it states that cities are our crowning achievement. Bollocks. They suck the life out of the surrounding areas resource-wise, and are examples of our ignorance and shortsightedness. Yeah, they look pretty and all your friends are there, but meh, they do suck.

The teacher as super villains thing reminds me of a lovely little book called How To Be Topp. Great read.

If the size of the population is the same no matter where they live then the resources required to sustain that population would be equal - cities or no citites. Are you advorcating a return to subsistence farming?

He's in a league of his own :!: . Remember, Marvel is not X-rated :!: . I do not think that a comic involving a crazed Geography teacher and a 12inch metal ruler would have much readership! I also don't think that any super''hero'' would tackle him. Also, Geography isn't an American's strong point :!:
*''You mean there's another country other than the U.S.?'' says Spiderman whilst Professor X looks on shocked and Wolverine and The Human Torch flick through the maps in amazement.

You can imagine it can't you, The Hulk crying outside his classroom, whimpering ''Mr. Ashmore said I was special.......special NEEDS!''

Yeah, because the only alternative is subsistence farming, right? Once population becomes clustered beyond a certain point, it becomes incredibly inefficient, needing resources to be brought further and further to their point of use. *snip slight rant that I typed*

Asides from that, the site is a nice collection of bits and bats, though.

Novel, and a good idea, but I think it could be better. Although its probably quite difficult to transfer the manic pace of the animation to live action.

I don't really think it would work- it would too easily become a horribly cheesy American sitcom. Also I think it would be hard to accept the Simpsons as anything other than the yellow, 4-fingered, disfunctional family that we know and love. Interesting idea though...

Check out some of these, my Year10 class told me about it. Out of everything that is censored on our school's computers, this one still made it through

http://www.wackyvids.com

I have to admit, some of them are gross, some of them are very cruel but some of them are funny.

This is a pretty cool site:

http://www.pandora.com

You type in a band or song name and it then generates a playlist based on similar music- voila a custom radio show!
