Why would they not sell the ice cube tray in the UK!? Damn, I'd drink more cool stuff just to make use of that thing. My Grandma goes to France relatively frequently, maybe I could ask her nicely, I wonder?

I found this website today which I thought was very good. apt supplies designer furniture for spaces which are quite small. It would be great to buy some stuff from here but I imagine it would be difficult to import into the UK.

on the facade one it is a rubbish facade. its probably based on the standard barcode generators that all normal products use.

Yo. You seem to be in a bit of a ranting mood today Mr Knight! It is not supposed to be a serious facade designer! :D

Kevin McCormick is a really interesting LED artist. Check out the Tensor wall which is amazingly bright (and rather energy inefficient for LED's which is odd.

I liked this and although not to do with Architecture it is a design / art based idea.

The wind-shaped house raises some interesting possiblities if they use a similar concept for apartments: you could rotate your room to get light or shade as desired, less noise etc etc.

The wind shaped house is a great idea. Especially if you can bring the movement into some sort of energy generation idea. It would be ace is the walls generated elec and also would be good as the dual action would automatically damper the effect so the building did not windmill.

Inhabit is also another good website to check out.
