I pray to god that your mother wasn't the receptionist who took your letter. If it was, you're right, Freud would have gone nuts!

I am having deep sleeps at the moment - I think this is because me and Rowenna invested in some high quality goose feather down pillows - Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzupreme!

Ugh, this was wierd:

Jogging down a railway platform. Cut scene: outside station, turn right to go to wherever, realise it's a dead end. Turn around to go back, see Terry and his girlfriend going the other way, and we pretty much blank each other. Girl from the other side of the road starts to whip me, so I jog left and back south towards Manchester. Cut scene: train journey, in engine, narrator describes scene news report style as the train derails, crashes down an embankment and into a river. Narrator mentions - seconds to escape, some people do (I'm in a third person view at this stage).
Second bit: in some kind of exercise, people are being marked with some kind of spray-on stuff randomly to represent shrapnel from bomb blasts.

Yeah, I sometimes miss not dreaming...not that any of this was disturbing, just unsettling.

Another good one. Though it is starting to fade now.

Firstly I was in a town devestated by explosives. I remember walking through the town when it was okay but on this time I walked past a building feeling a great sense of relief that it had been destroyed. I ended up walking down the tracks next to this building and they lead to another bombed out husk.

This husk was wierd though as the rail way tracks went under the substructure. To investigate I crawled around under the building through lots of dusty sand or soil. I was aware that someone was following me and it made me rather paranoid. Upon crawling out the people (who I did not know were with me) reported that the damage was not as extensive as it should have been due to the windows all being left open. They thought this was odd becasue someone had obviously done this at great risk whilst a train packed with explosives had been steaming towards it. We dug around near the site and found several smashed cars. etc all ruined.

I then jumped and was sneaking a look into someone's office and there was the biggest iMac I have ever seen sitting in the corner. It must have been about 40" across - amazing

Odd, eh?

Nice dream last night.

It started in a place looking very much like where I grew up. After the feeling of familiarity grew it then started to change and evolve but the feeling stayed the same. At the end met up with some people who were obviously waiting for me and we raced around the streets (jogging / sprinting) and then dived through a style and round a large wall into a beautiful garden and I woke up as we all ran up the garden path into the cottage / house

That is quite strange Mike because I too had a dream about jogging! However, you weren't in it and it was in Barcelona - a much more pleasant location. I have never been there and I have seen it only in pictures but I am going on Saturday with the school. I don't think I'll be jogging though!

You might be jogging to the police station to bail out some of your students if they misbehave. Maybe it's a premonition?

i had a wonderful dream last week. i was sat in this sort of country house library in front of a roaring fire in one of those huge high backed leather chairs, dressed in a brown wool suit like the one i used to have at college. a maid in the classic black and white uniform would appear every so often and rather agreeably bend over a lot, and then i found myself talking to a young man sitting opposite me in a similar chair and from what i can remember he was interviewing me about the long and successful career i had had - but i can't remember what in. the best part of it was the tremendous sense of peace and contentment resting over me and i woke up in a very good mood.
I came, I saw, I bought the T-shirt

Don't tempt fate please.

Let's just say Las Ramblas, one of the most beautiful places for shopping in the world, is about to be invaded by about 40 chavs. Our lot will probably think the Museo Picasso is a massive hall full of graffitti!!! I don't think Gaudi would have visualised it like this!

P.S. Unconfirmed reports of the Barcelona Cathedral being overrun by a mob next week are nothing to do with me. :D

Have fun in Spain. You lucky, lucky thing. Actually, on second thoughts, you will be going with a load of school kids. Not very lucky at all really.

I actually wasn't going to be able to go to Spain until this morning at 2.30am when me and Rowenna finally found my passport! However, that is another story for another time.

Spain should be good, there are some great kids that we are taking.

Dream from last night -
In a big detached house, it had been ransacked, all had been taken was Rowenna's wedding ring, every window smashed so we had to get them al replaced. Very costly. Work started going on, then alarm woke me up
Strangely enough me and Rowenna are having new windows installed after Easter. A strange, freaky and un-nerving dream.

Uber wierd and vivid dreams last night probably induced by mixing larger and guiness. Wish I had not bought the larger to be fair, it tasted horrible!

I was in a really wierd hotel where they served bacon all day except at breakfast, at breakfast they served steak. . . . . During my stay, I was doing something illegal, I don't know whta but I was caught in the act and I remember feeling really smug as though I had planned the whole thing.

I was then arrested, and given the option if I wanted to be cuffed with hands on my head or behind my back. Obviously behind the back is cooler so I went with that one. However, the cuffs were really easy to get out of so when they bundle me into a car and tried to drive off I got out of the car and walked away. The persons in the car notices, paniced and drove into a shop doorway, the car exploded as I watched feeling totally satisfied that my plan had worked seamlessly.

Then I woke up. Very, very odd.

That is very very true, or it is what happens when you eat bacon all day, you have delusions.

Here is another.
I was working at the part three things and for some reason Lizzie and I had access to a glass box in Piccadilly station in Manchester which was laid out like a flat. It was really wierd because I tried sleeping there one night and then hated it. Therefore I used the box to study and then went home. [Incidentally - I missed the last train which had revolving doors and as the train was moving off some guy was still leaving the train so he was propelled onto the platform]

Slightly before that I was chatting to a friend from Primary School in front of platform 2 train, as the train rushed towards us we moved out of the way (just in case) as it happens it was totally justified as the train plowed through the barriers, the glass screen and onto the concourse. This was cleared away whilst we argued for compensation for the trauma when another two trains did exactly the same thing. This time I had to jump off the platform and lie down to avoid the second train which was sliding over the first. The wheels of the second train were literally just above my head when it came to a stop.
