Hey does anyone out there watch neighbours like me? if so have you enjoyed seeing Harold in this different light? i wonder if when he returns old jelly belly will be back to his old compassionate self or maybe he'll finish what he's started!

WTF!? Evil Harold tearing puppies to shreds and abusing kangaroos? The thought of an evil Harold is almost enough to make me watch Neighbours again, if I could find a blank tape and figure out how to work the video recorder.

I am an avid neighbours viewer and being a lazy teacher I'm always home in time to watch it! It's the only soap i do watch these days. i've given up on eastenders and corrie. i like it because you can guarantee the baddie will always get their comeuppance. ha!
As for Harold i'm not sure i like him very much evil - it's disturbed the natural order of things!

yep some of the viewing left me feeling slightly uneasy. the attempted throttling of paul (as Lou later put it) was almost too much! The natural order of things have indeed been disturbed on ramsay street.

The mental image I have in my mind will not leave for a long long time.
* profusely curses mr_e!
I haven't watched it for a while. Six months ago Harold was acting very evil and sinister but I thought he had got out of that stage. Has he had a relapse then?

Yeah, it was an out-take they never used. You should've seen the kangaroos faces! It's also amazing what you can do with those pouches.
Harold a force for good

Could it be that to retain the balance of order in nature, by making Paul, the former source of all that was creepy, dishonest and downright nasty into the milk of human kindness personified, they had to make Harold, the former force for good into a crazed psychopath?

thus restoring nature's balance in the cosmos

Well i personally don't have any quarms with Paul at present and i find the demise of his character equally disturbing. It was like when Izzy got all drugged up and lost it, they are both too good at being bad. The sooner Paul gets to grips, wises up to Harold and gets back on track, the better i say! PDT_004

Am v intrigued now- as a once avid neighbours fan who has been forced to abandon the soap through the tyranies of the working world - can someone explain to me how Harold has gone evil ???

:?

Yeah me too- I turned it on the other day and couldn't work out why he was evil! And could someone please tell me why Stuart went blind for a bit, I never did fathom that one out!
'Fathom'- there's one for the favourite words thread...

You've got to watch the kickback though. Nasty stuff!
I can't understand how Paul is so nice now - that is just absolute cackery of cackiness. The man is an absolute git - what next? David asks Paul to be his best man? Ludicrous rubbish but very watchable.
I'm waiting for Harold to club someone over the head with his tuba. Now that would be worth watching.

Hi! stu went blind for a bit when he rushed into Lous pub when it was on fire.(It is a fire that Paul almost certainly started too) He saved sindi but he lost his sight for a bit. amazingly enough he was still able to be a policeman by working on the switchboards at the station!
Harold has gone evil as the recent events in his life are too much for him to cope with. there was some sort of event where paul decided he should trreat everyone to a flight to tasmania in his private plane however the plane had a bomb on it therefore it crashed and burned. lil, david and serena died. everyone started blaming paul for the accident but at first harold was all compasion and refused to blame paul directly. Then he was going through some of davids things and he found a letter that david had written when he was being framed for being a fraudster by paul whilst on the council. the letter was saying that everyone even his own dad has turned he back on him. paul has taken everything including his wife and that if he (david) goes down for the fraud then he wants someone to make sure paul doesnt get away with it. so harold started going mad spouting qoutes form the bible about an eye for an eye and gods will must be done. then again his two wives, two children and grandaughter are all dead- its tough!
so he crept into pauls house and tried to throttle him, hes been tapping on the windows at night and making crank calls and now paul is ridden with anxiety and panic attacks. however izzy is suspicious and thinks harold has been upto no good but thinks hey this is harold, he's a good guy. so one night harold just shut up shop and left and no one knows where!

Neighbours is marvellous. Toadie said the word 'stoic' today...what more could you ask for in a soap? two hours later he was competing in a pie eating contest! :D
I like the karmic idea about paul being good so harold now has to be bad to in fact maintain the balance of the universe. such existential stuff.

Thanks for the update Seaflower !!
Sounds like I'm missing out - there should be some sort of omnibus at the weekend !!!
I have to admit though - I am more shocked that Toadie's still in it (how long has he been in Neighbours ??). I always thought there was something creepy about Harold

!! Must be the tuba playing !!
