What is everyone up to this weekend? I think Lizzie and I might go for a walk and watch a few films, should be nice to have a 3 day weekend and a 4 day week. Am really looking forward to the rest, I have been a little drained recently (ever since chester I think!).

I'm going to be doing the front garden because it needs attacking. We may go and watch a film but I am unsure - the cinema gets a little too busy with kids for my liking.

It should be a relatively easy week next week - I get an extra four lessons off due to the SATS which is nice.

And I get a five day weekend because I'm a militant loony left striker. Yay! No respite for me, though, as I shall be facing a perilous task: clothes shopping.

Eeek. Not clothes shopping! I fear for your good temper mr_e. It is a perilous task indeed. Good Luck, are you looking for anything in particular?

A weekend of finishing off the ADAPS end of year accounts and the Summer Syllabus ready for the AGM next Thursday. letter to English Heritage with a copy of my just-published article "Images of England". eBay day on Saturday. New article to write if I have time ("JRs Guide to Lenses")

And maybe a film or two and the occasional glass of cold white wine.

I've now volunteered to go to the Trafford Centre with you lot. Eep. I mostly need clothes for hols, and some new jeans. The crotchless look is so last year.

There was a good reason, apparently Mike needs entertaining whilst his better half wanders around with Chrissie. Otherwise I'd go city centre. I'm not entirely mad yet. Maybe I could buy a self-help book whilst I'm there...

You have no idea how much I appreciate the company! I will let you know when we are due there. Anyone else want to come along?

I can't believe how well co-ordinated you guys are! Just do what I do, walk around and stand there if you have to and then after half and hour start yawning. Everybody yawns when they see somebody yawn. Fifteen minutes later complain that you're tired and she will agree with you .... problem solved you go back or she speeds up. Much easier.

Seriously though, respect to you both for going shopping, especially the Trafford Centre - can't stand the place at the best of times.

Well I spent yesterday climbing Mount Snowdon to raise money for my trip to kenya this summer. It was very strenuous indeed and i'm relatively fit at the moment because I'm training regularly for the Great Manchester Run (for the same cause). The weather was fantastic so the views were absolutely spectacular. I don't think I've ever seen such great scenery (on home soil) before; it was great. And i've even caught the sun! Today has been mostly aching muscles (well worth it) and tomorrow...marking beckons. Aaaah, 'tis exam time once again. Enjoy what's left of the weekend peeps, i'm off to open a bottle of wine!

I hate this time of year for the amount of marking. It doesn't creep up on me, more like plonks itself in front of me with huge size twenty-two feet saying ''Mark me, mark me now!''

Tomorrow I will be taking dandelions out of my garden with a garden tool that I borrowed from my dad.

Maybe it's one of those cool twisty-claw tool things? I'm all shopped out now after the Trafford Centre (survived, yay!), so I may wait until Wednesday before embaking on my shopping odyssey part deux: Manchester city centre!
