No this is not a dodgy film but an endeering film about two muscicians who take a job in an all girl band to escape the mob in Chicago. Starring Marlyin Monroe and two unknowns as far as I can tell!

weird, this often gets voted as the funiest film of all time though i must agree i have no idea why. marilyn monroe was piss-poor in every film i've ever seen her in, though jack lemmon and tony curtis seemed to having a blast - i assume mike you pretended not to recognise them for their own good!

if you want to see jack lemmon in something that is very funny, watch the odd couple

I liked this film - I thought Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis were very funny. Marilyn Munroe is an enigma to me - gorgeous looking on screen but not that great an actress.

Monroe looks like she has a body builders chin though! It is really weird

Some Like it Hot is regularly in top 100 films of all time lists, I personally think it is very funny !!

And Mr Riley - I think you are being a bit harsh seeing as I heard a chuckle from you on a couple of occasions. I just have to wonder if you hated it enough to give it one star, why did you watch the whole thing ? I would have thought you would have given it at least two stars ??

maybe it's more of a girl's film from the posts - and i am at this point assuming that lizzie and kirstypie are real girls and not just in drag... :)
