The Doctor Who was an amazing story this Christmas. I was very impressed with the exit of the new Doctor. It is always interesting that the regeneration brings a rather crazed side to the Doctor right to the fore.

On a side note a dalek was spotted in Chadderton. John K needs to be careful!

I loved the Xmas episodes (apart from the last bit and I also thought his last line was a bit naff. Eccleston's was way better),

Not sure on the new Doc but I probably stated that about Tennant. I'll give him time, he'll need it. His assistant looks cute so there is more of a reason to watch it.

I can't remember what his final line was, but it was a suitably grand scheme that he had to thwart by the end of it all.

Each new Doctor tends to bring different things to the role, but people get very attached to them so the change is likely to be a bit weird. Tennant was a pretty damn good one though.

I am intrigued by the symbol on the Dalek.
The jury, perhaps unfairly, will be out on this bloke but I'm sure we'll get into it. I'm just not sure on his bow-tie.

He looks a bit like Michael Palin which puts me off slightly because I can't take him seriously. Has anyone else noticed that he has a really long face?!

Trailer for Season Five and the 11th Doctor.

UK Space agency launch new Logo it cost 10grand... and bears a striking resemblance to something from Dr Who (Apparently, I've never watched it, so can't really comment, except to say that it does look like a bit of lazy design.)

The new new new new new new new new new new Doctor has arrived.

I must admit that overall, I liked him. He was a little wooden at the beginning but I feel that was due to the storyline more than anything but after a while I got used to his quirks, etc. and I warmed to him. The actual episode plot was an interesting concept and made a change from invading Daleks OR Cyberman invasion so that was a little bit of a breath of fresh air. Those characters will return and that will be good, I just hope the scenarios are suitable for them. From the looks of the future episodes it should be a good series.

Karen Gillan/Amy Pond was also a hit. Funny that.....

The Doctor Who episode proves two current trends. Amelia and red heads are so hot right now. . . meant in the hot topic type of way rather than the steaming kind of way.

The first episode was good, it felt like a manic first episode with lots of big budget effects. I hope that when it settles down the great story lines we expect will start to shine. Don't forget this is a new writing team as well as a new Doctor this was due to Russell T Davies stepping down from the role at the same time as David Tennant.

According to the Daily Mail today, some viewers are complaining that the new assistant is too sexy....

Obviously they have forgotten Leela's skimpy costumes, Zoe's short skirts, Peri's tops...or it just goes to show that whatever you do someone will whinge!

They are all probably jealous that they have never been handcuffed to a radiator by a kiss-o-gram in a police officer's uniform.

I wonder if the sales of Ann Summers Police Outfits will now soar...assuming that they make such a thing, which I wouldn't know of course, and I think I'll stop talking now.

59 is the new 21 JR! ;-)

A little random observation but surely AS' handcuffs don't need a sonic screwdriver to get them off as they must be purely for the performance and not for restraining purposes. Obviously he wasn't to know that but still..... Also, I'd been led to believe that they a strip-o-gram's were fluffy so it was most disappointing.

Next Saturday's episode is called 'The Beast Below' and the following week is entitled ''Victory Of The Daleks''. I know that I will definitely watching both but especially the latter as it looked to be potentially brilliant.
