The witness must reach LAX airport and testify at the trial of the gang boss. The gang boss is trying to stop him. Thusly they quickly hatch a plan to stop the plane by releasing poisonous snakes onto the flight. (Amazing really in the day it takes to fly to LAX they can import a huge variety of snakes and get them tanked up on drugs!!)
Ignoring the rather large plot holes you can just about watch this tongue in cheek horror (comedy?).
