Dear Members and Guests,

This is supposed to be a polite and friendly board for discussions. Please remember this when you post and I am sure that we will not need to use the moderator functions at all.

Lets just all get along. . . .

Welcome TAOWBST, I bet you will have people wondering who you are! I know and I could tell the rest but I think it is more fun not too. I am interested to know where the name comes from and what the signiture is from.

It is also very funny that Hazel held the Newbie special title for about 12 hours only before the torch was passed on. Rob it the longest running holder of the title now and I am sure he is suitably impressed. :D

Thanks, Mike. I'll remain nameless for the time being yaay.

The name is the initials of the title and author of a book I've been reading. My signature is also a quote from the author.

I thought that might raise some questions.

Ooh, The Art Of War. Don't think I know anyone who's read that (or admitted to it, anyway)...maybe one of Mike's mysterious relatives? Better keep that debate out of this thread, slightly off-topic...

Thanks for that. What a warm welcome

TAOW isn't about what it seems, but I won't go into it. Best not stray from topics.....at least not until I've been here a while.

Briefly related to such. I wonder do you know what the Yin Yang symbol represents,Mike? Oh yeah and how do I add an avatar? I can't seem to get them below the 6kb limit.

Mike's mysterious relative? Yeah I suppose you could say that.

You can either save them as a .gif of less than 80 x 80 pixels or a low quality jpeg of approximately the same size. In photoshop you should get it below 8kb quite easilly by altering the sliding scale to about 3-6. I will up the allowed size a little.
