The Last King of Scotland

This is a film about political unrest and dictatorial regimes in Uganda. The story is told through the eyes of a rather unsavory character who decides to get out of Scotland and be a charity aid worker in Uganda.
He quickly gives up his work in the villages for the fame and fortune of being the President's personal physician. It all goes horribly wrong from that point and end rather nastily for all concerned.

A better than average film which makes you think about the horrors Uganda was subjected to in 1979. I would not say it was a great film and wonder why it would be considered a piece of entertainment. It had the feel of more like a documentary . . . .
