I am not really sure about this image. I like the two separately but am not sure on the combination. I am still considering though.
Technically this is very good, it is an interesting effect.

First you have to have the pictures hosted on the web, perhaps at pBase or similar. Make the size reasonable for the forum, otherwise it will annoyingly mean scrolling excessively.
Then copy the URL, hit the Img tag, paste the URL and hit the Img tag again.
Then the picture should appear. But as Fez has seen, sometimes it doesn't work 100% and the screen may have to be refreshed to see the image.

I find 500px works fine. Although it can depend on the image. I.E if its something where a lot of detail is important 1000px is suitable for the average forum. I ask people to keep to 500 on my forum for download speeds and keeping those awful horizontal scrollbars at bay.johnriley1uk wrote:Nice image, I'm not surprised it won.
It seemed to load quite slowly, so it might be a bit big. If it helps, I suggest 1000 pixels wide at widest point, 72ppi and a file size of 200-300KB is just about perfect.
I think it gets all too easy at times to knock out mediocre photo manipulation after photo manipulation. For it to work well it has to have a strong underlying concept, IMO. I did some photo manipulations for Unit 7, (Exam) in Photography at college. I'll upload them sometime next week, (can't this weekend as they are currently only saved at college and I have no access to the drives from here).
