I've just seen Episode 8 "Father's Day", and I can tell you that I felt totally choked up and entranced...My God, how do they do it, week after week I am totally wiped out by this new series. So it's time for a new poll and thread.

Much better than I imagined. I hope that series two shows the same imagination. I do think that the new americanised 45 minute episodes helps the popularity, it means that those with a short attention span can get closure on the epsisode straight away. . . . For those who dont know Dr Who used to be arranged in a series of up to six 25min episodes to a story.
Everyone might also have noticed that the BBC has quickly released the DVD containing the first three episodes and plan to release the full series boxed set before christmas. At the moment it is ranked 58th most popular item on amazon.co.uk and is priced at ?49.99.
