Timing, its all about Timing!

Post by Mike »

I thought this was a classic. I was driving out of Tesco car park and a driver of a large estate was sitting accross two lanes blocking in a second estate. The second estate got a bit irate and swerved into my lane to overtake the obstruction.

I bipped him to make him aware he had almost driven into the side wing of my car and he shot a furious glare out of his window and bipped back. He then proceeded to accelerate hard to run the red light at the junction.

As he acclerated hard the boot of his estate gracefully opened and started spewing his shopping all over the road. . . it was made even more dramatic because he was turning right so all the shopping was flung out of the car in a spectacular fashion.

I stopped at the light to laugh and giggle at him mercillessly as he then caused a large obstruction running onto the main portwood roundabout in stockport (on a motorway junction) as he had to stop and push his boot down. The irony being that he had started the whole thing off by getting annoyed by an obstruction in the road! :D

The last I saw of him was he was speeding away in a very aggressive manner towards stockport, leaving most of his shopping in the middle of the junction. I just got the impression that it could not have happened to a more suitable person and thought I would share it with you all.

Very entertaining and the highlight of my day so far!

Pre-tenderised steak! Excellent. Now if some pepper happened to have gotten crushed onto that, even better. I can't believe he actually left stuff lying in the road. You should've called the police and got them to arrest him for leaving obstructions on a public highway or something just to make his day. Those cans of beans can be dangerous, don't ya know?

i can believe he left stuff in the road, because if i had acted like such a plonker and fate had bit me on the arse, i'd want to get the hell out of their leaving what was left of my dignity lying on the tarmac as well.

If you believe what you read in the papers, the council may try to find a receipt and fine him for littering at the very least. But, yeah, you aren't really supposed to dive into the road to retreive stuff anyways, the police should be called. Which would rather compund the dignity issue. Ah, life's dilemmas.
