Interesting Phrases

Post by Mike »

I saw this on an advert and I love the saying. I don't know what it was advertising but I don't care.

"I hate to lose but I am not afraid to fail"

Quality saying and cool sentiment. 8)

It was advertising some sports thing. i know this because i paid equal attention to the photo of a certain Thierry Henry as you did to the interesting phrase!!! there's another one that says "I've scored every goal with my head". or some such.

Words of wisdom that some random sage in Africa said to me:
"Better to ask and know the answer".

I also like "in vino veritas". In wine there is truth. although obviously if you get tooooooo drunk, you'll go way beyond truth and honesty and the only veracity will be in how damned stinking drunk you are!
