Toothbrushes . . . with COMPUTERS!
I saw an advert last night proudly proclaiming their toothbrush has an on board computer.
I hope it connects wirelessly to the internet to order new heads after the current one reaches a finite number of rotations! :D

Hmm...overuse of technology? I bet the toothbrush manufacturers would love it to automatically order new stuff as well.
"You have mild gum disease, ordering medicated mouthwash now!"
"No! Stop!"
"Processing card details..."
[sound of toothbrush's demise]

I like the good old fashoned palstic stick with bristles on the end. I find it very difficult to use the electric ones as the vibration in my teeth makes me feel sick.
it strikes me a bit like gellette trying to reinvent the razor - their latest model has got five blades because the old one only had three which means the big difference is that the new one has...er, two more. hell, i've used one bladed disposables and i couldn't have cut any closer to the bone if i'd follwed up by buffing my chin with sandpaper and using nitric acid as aftershave.
I came, I saw, I bought the T-shirt
I can envision a mini projector unit being added to the base for just such a purpose...

It would be really defeating the object if the toothbrush vibrated to tell you of a MSN message. How would you know the difference?

Nope. I don't think even spoons are safe, they'll probably be tagged so the dishwasher can call for them if you forget after a meal...

Spoons with GPS would be great. No more wondering where all the tea spoons go! I bet you could track it down to a dump some where really easilly.

Or they might all turn up at your neighbours house? Plus, maybe the dishwasher could warn you if they had been dropped on the floor and not washed again. I'm so pitching that to...someone...

Why don't you go onto Dragons Den? You could get some funding and work with Theo Paphitis! (Who could resist a chance like thatmr_e wrote:Or they might all turn up at your neighbours house? Make sure you call your dishwasher Alvin.
"Hi, I've got no prototype, but I want to pitch this really cool idea to you all!"
They're venture capitalists, and this would be a true adventure of joy and discovery. I'd be tempted to call it Marvin.
