Coloured Wine Glasses

Post by Mike »

Everyone is going LCD crazy, this is one of the more weird applications. Your wine glass will change colour and glow. Fun or what?

whats wrong with glass? Is this not the same as the toothbrush with a computer in it? How about a Global Hyper-color t-shirt so everyone can see when your sweaty.

I have seen the lcd type t-shirts that can display any picture you like that sounds more fun thanwine glasses

i want a glow in the dark toilet so i'll never have to throw up on the floor again in the middle of the night after two litres of blackthorn.

There was a LCD display belt buckle which could display any programmed image on it. The presentation photos just had the word geek on it which I imagine would put most people off!

I'm just thinking of that technology theory which states that when any efficiency savings are made (LCD lights) consumption increases roughly in proportion (LCD lights in tons of glasses). I will confess that the belt buckle does look sort of interesting, though.

they had t-shirts like that in the early 90s because my dad thought they would be fun when he saw them cheap on bolton market. They looked like the kind of thing that we had created during a textiles lesson on tie-dying - utter shite in other words. Anyway, they changed from a light blue to a horribly mucky purple depending on how much you sweated. Plus, areas of interest, i.e. under the arms, remained purple after a while! GROSS!

I like the LCD's within glass. It means you can have lights positioned right in the centre of the pane. It can also be used to put lights on the door handles without having any wires etc running around the frames etc. CP Hart in Deansgate locks has an example in their show room.
