So this means that you rule us all. Hmmmm, not sure I like the sound of Tao the Tsar
Oh well, the only way to change this, (in this region) is to become a UN delegate. I think that means you have to apply to join the United Nations.

Being in the UN seems to be a bit dangerous, there are lots of silly things that get passed. . . . .

Well, I've applied to join it anyway. If it gets annoying, I can always leave.

That seem to be a good idea. We only need three UN people in the region to create a Delegate . . . .

I agree, let's work out how you ask new members to join. Vesta is small in this ever-changing world. I was bombarded with about 10 telegrams when I first signed up!

By the way, is anyone else still enjoying this as much as me. I think it is fun.

It's cool, but it seems somewhat difficult to change your ratings once they're set: I may be stuck as a permanent liberal paradise with an imploded economy. I ain't selling my soul to no UN: mr_e pity the fool who try to sign him up.

My ratings seem to change really frequently, maybe I am just confused as to what my opinions actually are!

The economy is the problem for me. I've tried everything I can to improve it but nothing seems to work. Unfortunately, that has meant that certain things have gone by the wayside - Civil Rights, Political Freedoms, etc, etc, blah, blah, blah.

My ratings never really change much either mr_e. I would say it was virtually impossible to do it but TAO seems to be doing it, which is most annoying.

There is another game you can try - it is called Dark Throne

If you join you need defensive soliders asap else some annoying git will attack you straight away and steal your 50,000 starting cash. It is very annoying.

The game itself looks very promising though, you can create, manage and attack other countries. I will let you know how it goes after I have managed to get some defense together. I lost nearly 48000gp in 5 mins as I was getting used to the user interface. I think they should have a grace period to help the newbies along really.

Richard and Liz play DarkThrone alot, Mike. I gave up on it lol. 8)

As for attracting new people to the region, if you send telegrams to random nations, you might get a response. Seems like theres a similar tactic with alliances in DarkThrone.

If anyone is interested why not set up a Vesta Alliance in Darkthrone? It will only work if there are lots of us wanting to join though! :D

Do you reckon it involves a lot more time and effort than Nationstates? I'd be interested because it looks new but sceptical if it took a lot of time and effort - i.e. at least 1/2 hour a night.
