As it has now officially gone past Lizzies due date I thought it might be interesting for those who are in the know to tell of the things they have heard of to bring labour on, if they work who knows but it will be fun making suggestions!!!

The ones I heard of are hot curry, walking alot, bouncing on birth balls, rasperry leaf tea, cod liver oil but would not reccomend that one as apparantly its dangerous!! anyone else????????? :-D :-D :-D

I assumed thats what was meant by "bouncing on birth balls" I thought it was a particularly clever euphamism

I hear that giving your husband plenty of peace and quiet to play computer games and watch the rugby are particularly efficient ways of bringing on labour.
Mike, you can buy me that beer whenever I see you next! ;-)

If England play like last time, making Lizzie watch the rugby might be a good idea...by the time our third or fourth player gets sin-binned, she should be sooo incensed that the pain of child birth will seem like a bee sting! :-)

I like that you thought that about the birthing balls but from my side it was totally innocent lol

Also lots of pineapple although I have heard that this is only effective if you eat galons of it!!! :-0

And a strange one now ...eating egg plant??? Apparantly reccommended by a doctor!

Well. It would have been if I could be bothered to go and do it. As it is only glossing it can be done when the baby is here!

Thanks for the offer (on his behalf!) but I will be okay. It's not too much work left really. :-D
