True, and you're not one of the X-Men because that honour goes to Bobby Drake.

Re: Who is your favourite captain?

I suppose Birdseye has been banished for the same reason as Pugwash, crimes against innuendo!

Oooh arrr, look at my lovely fishie fingers.....

Re: Snow Watch

Snowed here yesterday evening and this morning. Unfortunately it didn't stick enough but some did - enough for snow ball fights! The Darwin area had considerably more as I went ice-skating today :-D

Re: Seasonal firsts

Yes but as it's Xmas then no. The whole context behind the quote would need to be stated but I can't be arsed so there's only probably Claire who would know what I mean about SLT's scrooge-like view on DVD entertainment at the end of December. In case you're wondering, I've not watched one yet with ...

Re: Seasonal firsts

First dodgy link to random school-based related media output. I give you this pearl of joy by Emma ''I'm watching Blade Runner next'' To which we all voiced our surprise at both the film but also the genre. In response she defended it by saying ''They're going Ice Skating on Friday.'''

Re: Seasonal firsts

I too have the seasonal snivvles but alas was out on the work do on Friday night supping Theakstons. Not wanting to set toungues wagging I have forced my lumbering body in and I am attempting to teach which is hard enough at the best of times but when one's throat feels like it is getting stabbed re...

Re: Twilight Series

No worries. Don't think John will read that at any time soon! Tell him not to bother, it made the Da Vinci Code seem like a classic. I was forced into submission by my Y11 class of intelligent young women who all told me it was ''the greatest book ever written'' and I reluctantly agreed because I w...

Your definition of ''slightly rude'' would be my staffroom's definition of a ''completely perverted male chauvanistic pig''. I don't know, adults these days... Educationalists! ...supplying moral values since 1854. Who wouldn't want a strobing 6ft blow up snowman?! An eskimo? Here is one more...
