Re: 10 tricksy questions from Children

[url=http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/8197562.stm] 10. Why does my best friend have two dads? Answers on a post card please! I could so easily see myself halfway through a conversation about what is a gay man and it is fine to be gay, to then find out actually its a dad and a step-dad! I h...

Re: Cities of the Underworld

Re: NHS

I try to avoid the doctor where possible as it is, I just simply wouldn't go if they charged me £20. And I don't think I'd be the only one.

Re: Baby Riley on her way!

I'm not scared of the labour, I'm scared of the nappies! Not entirely sure whether I want the hassle of children, though Millie is rather cute and baby sick doesn't put me off. Actually its a lot better than cat sick, cos at least they don't sound like they are about to die and then proceed to throw...

Re: Northern Rock

I did the same calculations 2 months ago and it was cheaper to stick. Mine's a three year deal with two years to run and argh 6.5%. But then if I hadn't fixed it, liz's law (similar to murphys) the interest rates would have gone up and I'd currently be eating beans on toast and not seeing anyone.

Re: Millies Furniture

Liz, does the wardrobe hold the gateway to the mythical land of Narnia? How cool would that be?! I have a very exciting image in my head... Actually never thought of it that way, but yes they do look like the wardrobe in Narnia. Never tried to step inside them and don't think there's any fur coats ...

Re: Millies Furniture

Talking randomly about furniture... My grandma has a hand made post war 2 wardrobe and dressing table with mirror bedroom set. Dark veneer with cathedral doors. Lovely. Grandma said last weekend it was a shame that none of the family would want it when she was gone. My instant response was to act li...
