Those pranks make me wish we had cubicles. Number 17 is indeed mind-boggling. How bored are these people!?

The one filled with packing fluff was the best. That takes a special amount of boredom - they need to make some people there redundant to make the other work a little bit more effectively. :???:

I wasn't sure whether this belongs in the youtube thread or here, but its on the Telegraph website. So here ya go: CRAZY bike rider gets 2.5mil hits on youtube for riding around Edinburgh.
I can locate MOST of the places he uses, but don't think I'll be attempting a recreation any time soon!

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned although, in my humble opinion she is taking this one rather too far.

It really is the day for these stories isn't it?

A 25-year-old Egyptian man cut off his own penis to spite his family after he was refused permission to marry a girl from a lower class family, police reported Sunday.

After unsuccessfully petitioning his father for two years to marry the girl, the man heated up a knife and sliced off his reproductive organ, said a police official.

The young man came from a prominent family in the southern Egyptian province of Qena, one of Egypt's poorest and most conservative areas that is also home to the famed ancient Egyptian ruins of Luxor.

The man was rushed to the hospital but doctors were unable to reattach the severed member, the official added citing the police report filed after the incident.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak with the press, added that the man was still recovering in the hospital.

Traditionally, marriages in these conservative part of southern Egypt are between similar social classes and often within the same extended families — and are rarely for love.

Moral of Russian story: don't date mentally unstable women, let alone have one as your long-term mistress. Still, ouch, and she made sure it couldn't be reattached.

Moral of Dubai story: Maybe she should've chopped something off her husband.

Moral of Egypt story: don't cut things off you may need later! I'm calling Darwinism on this one though.

Liverpool FC has £300 million debt and the owners holding company has made a loss of £43million this year mainly based on £36 million of interest payments. The future of the company has been placed as 'in doubt' by the auditors siting that the owners need to re-finance by 26 July 2009. The good news is that Liverpool FC made a £10.2 million pound profit this year, however, this was achieved by selling some high profile players.

some high profile players? robbie keane is the only one i can think of and we shouldn't have bought him in the first place - anyone one else we sold was 'shit' not high profile. dont worry about the debt, we're having a new stadium built; just living slightly beyond our means at the moment
