A few things to wrap up in this post! I did get your txt jr. It came through to the old phone as the number has not been ported over yet. It is expected to go through on the 15th of this month. If any one gets a text from an odd number don't. Bother to keep it, it will be gone in a couple of days!

It might be a classic it response because every small practice I work at starts asking me it questions! Maybe I should retrain and sell my services to the profession. On the other hand it is a thankless task and probably not worth it.

This touch screen keyboard is amazing. I am really getting used to the interface and speeding up now. Yay.

No need to retrain, you've already got the majority of the skills needed down to a t! You just need to work on saying the phrase in a deeply condescending manner and you're there!

This MEN article has a picture of the first person in the queue at Market Street who managed to purchase an iPhone. Funny small world isn't it?!

Al Ogle was telling me yesterday that the 16gb versions ran out very shortly after I had left the store. He was in the process of buying an 8gb model when 5 more 16gb versions came into the shop! What a lucky co-incidence that resulted in him acquiring a 16gb model and here I thought that he was going to miss out after turning up at 7:30. . . .

 I'm a 'Developer'. This means that Support get to be condescending to me...about things that I've broken!

There's a massive difference there! :-)

Out of interest Mike, is the iPhone the same size as the iPod Touch (I'm assuming it is...)? Only I need a case for mine and we're selling a Belkin iPhone thingy for £2.20 on the site. All I want is something to hold it in when it's in my bag (I've already got a screen protector and a rubbery skin thing to stop the back getting scratched!).

The iTouch has a thinner casing so I would guess that the 3g phone is about twice as deep when compared with the touch. The casing is slightly wider too so it might rattle around in an iPhone case.

MacWorld are reporting that Apple have announced 1 million iPhone units have been sold internationally and 10 million applications have been downloaded from the App Store.

These two images should show us the difference! Yup. 5.5mm taller, 4.3mm deeper and 0.3mm wider. Not as bad as I thought on the whole depth thing.

iPhone battery life leads its class in the US of A. That is despite being rather poor compared with older 2G phones. Well we have to start somewhere.
