Is it wrong to break into a national monument and then proceed to repair it?!

The Guardian Online has a great story about this happening. My favourite paragraph is:

FWIW, I totally approve. Good for them, and very bad for the administrators that would allow the clock to rust away.

I like the whole concept and hope it happens all over Manchester.

It's unfortunate that they cost the administrator his job, but given how long they'd managed to remain undetected it's probably for the best.

They get all the thrills of sneaking around buildings at night and doing good deeds in secret. Excellent find, Mike!

There are only 150 members in the whole world and have a cell dedicated to 'obtaining entrance to buildings at night' ie 'breaking and entering'. They are like the robin hoods of the modern generation! :D
