Last week we missed "Torchwood" so we watched it on http://www.bbc.co.uk which was interesting. Very YouTube but unfortunately the data stream was very slow, so it took 2 hours to watch 45 minutes of TV. Still, it did the trick and I guess next time we could try watching at 3am and it might be better.
I was listening to Radio 4 earlier today and that was live and just fine.
It's pretty good really that the service is available, and free!

Re: Viewing and Listening on the Web
The BBC iPlayer is supposed to be very good. I know it works on mac's now too which is great. It should not take that long unless your internet connection is overwhelmed by people in the area or lots of people were watching the iPlayer.
When I was watching live TV on the ITV website it was very good. I don't think it skipped once. I think I was watching the rugby - the only problem was if you are just watching the screen for 2 hours the screen power saving always pops up ever 15mins. I know I should have just changed the settings and not moan about the whole thing. . . .
