Snow, glorious Snow!

BBC Report about the Snow very natural occurance but quite destructive on people getting around safely. I wonder how many 'I can't get into work because of the snow' there was today. Our office seems to be pretty full but I imagine that the London City Centre is struggling. Especially since the Buses, Trains and Tubes are grinding to a halt!

Here in Edinburgh there's a couple of inches everywhere and more in off the main roads, its been snowing constantly since 2300 last night... everything is running as normal. the attitude is,
"Its snowed... put your hat and boots on and get on with it."
gotta love the southern softies, (for sweeping generalization purposes I claim Manchester as in the north, but only just!)

Good, because everyone here is in work! We may not be a hardy as the Haggis munchers but still pretty well able to get on with it. Actually the Haggis munchers does not make any sense. We had office Haggis Canapes on Friday for the monthly social. . . .

I slithered and slid up the road this morning but there wasn't much difficulty in getting to work. The worst bit was getting stuck behind a gritter on the M61...my car looks horrific!

I HATE those bloody things!
I'd rather be given the option of falling off and embedding the grit in my shins as I slide along the floor rather than having it fired into my shins as I ride along behind a gritter. Oh, yes, whoever came up with the expression salt in a wound never experienced grit... its DIRTY salt.
