The Desert of Desolation

Post by johnriley1uk »

The preliminary results for the PCs give me the following new levels:

Mort Deadstock T9 to T11
Lady Amy Tranth R7 to R10
Sir John Milton Cv8 to Cv10
Grag Level 8 to Level 10
Janus MU8 to MU10
Simon Penderghast MU8 to MU10
Melanie Masters C8 to C9
Alion Fairwood F4 to F5 and T4 to T10
Dougster D7 to D12

Please let me have your version of the treasure List so I can double check that we have everything.

For those PCs you want to continue with, please ammend your sheets if you can, otherwise we can do it before the start of play of "The Day of Al Akhbar"

Congratulations to all and good luck with the next mission!

when the new adventure write ups are posted on dragonsfoot, they will be included under the same desert of desolation thread so as not to confuse the hell out of me

Didn't you realise that I will send it to you sometime last week? Oh these Tomes of Time are so confusing!

But seriously, thanks for the reminder and I'll see to it later tonight.

The Tome of Time

Post by johnriley1uk »

Bound between platinum plates, the Tome of Time contains the following spells:

Haste, Slow, Dimension Door, Distance Distortion, Passwall, Teleport, Disintegrate, Limited Wish, Permenancy, Temporal Stasis, Time Stop, Forget, Wizard Lock, Hold Person, Hold Monster, Wall of Force, Delayed Blast Fireball, Phase Door, Teleport Without Error, Wish

Mort, you can use each of these just once, after which the spell will disappear from the book. Magic Users treat the book as a normal spell book, whereas you are handling it as a scroll.

Hiya,

Just a quick confirmation that AD&D / furniture removals at Vienna Road has been confirmed by Mr Harrison.

I bet you are all wondering what the furniture comment is about. Well, I have a new sofa being delivered on Friday afternoon and would very much appreciate help moving the old one out of position on Wednesday Evening. It might even help DND as we will be able to all sit comfortably in the back room and have a nice big table to put things on!

See you then
Mike

after a good deal of thought [i've been doing a lot of that recently and am now in danger of over heating my poor grey cells] i have decided to put an end to the dragonsfoot journal for the time being at the end of the 'day of alakbar' write ups. the truth is they take far too long to write, aren't really of any interest other than to a small band of people [and i'm not even one of them] and are boring me to tears. i can't spare the time anymore because i have other stuff to do - maybe i'll return to the fray at a later date

That seems reasonable. I have not attended to Dragonsfoot for about 18 months! I think I should be sacked. . . . literally!
