Robbie WIlliams / Take That

Post by Mike »

This is one of the news stories I saw on BBC. I thought Lizzie would be interested as it involves her first favourite celebrity.

Robbie's Mum hints the singer may do 'something' with Take That. WoHoo! Think of the Take That - Robbie Williams merchandise we can buy!

I don't think it will ever happen as a long term project, there;s too much water under the bridge now !! I can't imagine either Take That or Robbie would want to reform in that incarnation, they've both been clearly more successful independently !!

Although I don't role out the possability of some sort of 'one night only' deal !!

I'm sure that kind of "deal" would do you nicely, Miss Lizzie...no pun intended, Mike! ;-)

I don't believe you. I think the pun was very much intended! 8)

As far as I can tell the only good thing about Take That getting back together is that we will all be able to celebrate again (I was overjoyed the first time they imploded) when they split up again.

Fingers crossed it won't be too long

He was on radio 5 this morning. And said (badly paraphrased by me).

Rudebox wasn't seen as a sucess, so I want to get the new album out, put the old one behind me and then go and "play with my friends".

Apparently Gary has shown him DVDs of the shows and he wants to be involved, but didn't want people to think that he's given up on the solo thing to rejoin Take That.

Daily Mirror Exclusive Robbie Williams is rejoining Take That to record some new songs. I wonder how true this is. Lizzie as the thermometer of public opinion do you think this is a good thing?!

More Robbie Williams news for Lizzie (hopefully this one will be new news for her!). Robbie Williams will be performing live at the BBC Electric Proms on 20 October 2009. It will be broadcast live on BBC, BBC Radio 1 and in cinemas across Europe! Featuring new songs from his upcoming album and classics it will be his first performance in three years! Ps the new album has been hailed as a return to form for the singer!

According to last Sunday's paper, the Mail on Sunday (the parent's choice) is giving away his 'Greatest Hits' album for free this coming Sunday...I suspect Lizzie and other interested parties will already have everything on it though.

Robbie Williams is beaten to the number 1 spot by JLS, the first time that the singers album has failed to reach number 1 in its opening week. Lizzie will be upset, she was under the impression that his album sales would indicate a very high level of support for his return.

The Artist BBC page for fun and games! or just news. Whatever.
