Phrase of the Day
Here are a few quotes from last nights PQ. The jokes were going thick and fast last night which was fantastic.
Fashion Pleb - Refering obviously to person making misjudged comment about a non-existant fashion faux paux
'Let the Crazy out, The crazy is claustraphobic' - Since this was a quote I think we should all take note and act accordingly. . . . .
'Tactical Chunder' - This is the bolemia of the alcohol world, it is where you make yourself ill to feel better and drink more. . . . disturbing?
I was hoping to wait for these to be posted but I could not wait that long! :D

There was no pretending going on I assure you. We were students again in every sense of the word. I can guarantee that I will not be doing the student thing when I have to go to work the next day! :D

I'll let you off for not putting it in italics after the quotes.
In a somewhat unrelated turn of events, Nick was also right about something: consortium is actually 2nd declension neuter, and singular. Hence it follows donum (...donum, doni, dono: dona, dona, donorum, donis), and consortia was the correct plural. Thankyou Latin dictionary!
It's not sodding third declension plural after all. *wonders off muttering about gerundives to himself*

I like phrases like ''Dulce Didi Decoor..... blah'' (Some latin crap) anyway it translates as ''Don't Let The Bastards Grind You Down''
On my School's Spanish holiday I learnt the phrase ''CBFA'' and whenever I see Mahira or Lizzie we now shout it at each other, even in front of the kids (Can't Be Fucking Arsed).
Personal favourite line of insult - ''You're a menky, mauling, window-licker, sort it out!''
I always hate people who say really obvious things like ''You'll get wet when it pours''
My particular favourite phrase involves the friction that the staff feel towards the senior management regarding the new payment structure and the impending strike action. On Wednesday, this gem was heard
''I'd rather put my testicles in a blender than sweet talk around you and kiss your arse'' - by a certain Geography teacher that my friends know. My respect levels for him grew immensely. He is a GOD!!!!

Hahaha!
I was on form on Tuesday night. that's what a weekend without company does to me! all the funny gets stored up!
I took photos today of our fridge - anyone who's seen it will know that all funny phrases and chrisisms or clairisms get recorded there. now we have them preserved for posterity. Gems including:
"Full-fat bonkers" (me)
"What is up with that blonde shag of crap on her head?!" (Chris about the 10 years younger presenter)
Visit us to view other such beauties!
