iTunes Trauma

I have been looking through my music collection and iTunes has recatagorised 3725 tracks as Unknown and Unknown. . . . .

What a pain in the bottom.

Remind me again, does it actually delete the mp3 tags so no other program can read them, or does it just not recognise them itself (ie. can Windows Media Player still read them?). That's one thing that would put me off iTunes for sure, I'm on 3733 (shockingly similar number!) tracks here.

WMP and iTunes have lost the MP3 tag information. Very annoying! :(
