Big Brother 2007

Well here is the mammoth of TV entertainment, the highlight of the year and celeb maker extrodinare. BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING THEM!

I wanted to know who will be watching. . . . 11 people are in so far and all really weird looking people, I am sure friction and upset are just round the next bend.

I watched the entry programme at Jenni and Nick's last night (eating out again...at least this time it was healthy and inexpensive!) and frankly think they all should stay in the house for the good of the country!

How many vacuous wastes of space can you get in one building? Oh...apparently 11! :)

Not sure I'll watch that much, but you never know what will happen once boredom sets in. Maybe I should take up a hobby!

I will end up watching it after two weeks because the amount of kids that go on about it will make me curious as to who is who.

All I will say is I hope they don't put in anyone with any difficulties like Pete from last year. I ain't prejudiced. Just pissed me off the amount of knobhead kids that tried to copy him and the dickhead minority who used to shout out random swear words and then said they had tourrettes and laughed at supplys. Not good. Plus, I don't really think it was good PR for the tourrettes sufferers because their ''union'' or ''forum'' complained that it wasn't a good representation.

Anyhow..... A lot of ''girly-girls'' in the house this year which would be good if I was about 17 but I'm not and they seriously did my head in with comments like ''look at the pinkness.....oooohhh''. The best bit of last night was Davina taking the mickey out of them.

I didn't watch the entry show. I have no intention of watching any of the shows, spin off shows or live coverage of people sleeping at 2am. I don't care.

I do find it ironic that Peter Bazalgette the chairman of Endemol is a decendant .

If you don't know your history Joseph William Bazalgette was the engineer who planned and executed Londons sewer system, he quiete literally spent his life pumping the shit out of peoples houses. Whereas his decendant has dedicated his life to pumping shit back into to peoples houses.

I think I might rather watch paint dry....Oh, yes, that's right, I would rather watch paint dry. i painted my bathroom instead of watching that introspective, narcissistic, egotistic shite!!! Having said that, i feel i may succumb once i begin exam marking: it may provide a useful wassing activity (Work Avoidance Strategy). I'm wassing now actually; should be writing a Literacy Action Plan! oooops

Wassing is very useful and a requirement of British Business who (on general) does not pay for overtime. . . We work long hours but not very hard!

Yay for being able to paint the bathroom though, I personally don't want to paint ever again after doing my bathroom. It was way, way, way too boring.

Painting is ace. very theraputic. I find it an excellent contrast to my daily job of sitting still moving a mouse about.

The first half was boring but then i got into. christine called and i had her on speaker phone for about half an hour. that seemed to make things a lot easier. painting: boring; christine: entertaining.

wassing (pron. wozzing) is a brilliant word, may it infiltrate your life and those of people you know! use it! i invented it when i was doing my GCSEs and would tidy drawers or (if really desperate not to revise) my whole bedroom!

I watch Big Brother occasionally just for the psychology aspect of it, because I'm dead high-brow like that.

Claire, when you used mentioned wassing, I immediately thought of "wassail", which is kind of related in terms of work avoidance, although somewhat archaic.

Well, I do find psychology terribly entertaining, so in a manner of speaking one might say Big Brother does titillate me.
