Go dude, he really had to push hard to keep ahead of Alonso, luckilly he kept his cool and did not take them both out of the race. It would be so disappointing if they had done something really stupid.

On another note it is weird that there is always one dominant car not a series of well built fast cars. Meclaren has got it really well sorted this year. I hope the team rivalry does not get too extreme. I wonder how it would have panned out if Alonso and Schumacher were in the same team? Now that would have been fun!

Bullocks, missed it again. I'm habitually missing what looks to be one of the best seasons in ages. Time to set some reminders for myself, methinks. Anyone got them taped?

Well there are two things about that race. The first is what the smeg was McClarens strategy?! It sucked big time. I really don't know where the 3 stop strategy came it and you could say it ruined Hamilton's race.

Fernando was also scuppered by Technical faults which must have been painful. I really don't know how Ferrari manage to make their cars bullet proof but you would have thought the others would be able to manage it too!

Silverstone next week is a much bumpier and damaging track so we will see how fast the Ferrari is there. Rock on!

I'm glad we've got a true British contender for Silverstone.

Hamilton is on the pole in Silverstone which is good news. I hope he manages to convert this to a win! Raikonnen, Alsono and Masa are in 2-4 respectively so he will have competition right off the line. Will be at Nick's birthday bash today so I hope that the race goes well, will not be able to see it live but hope to catch the highlights later.

Doh! He just needed to DRIVE FASTER! That and not go before finished refueling. I see that he is wanting it too much now and needs to recapture the Zen. On the plus point he has managed 9 podiums from 9 races which is a very good record to have in the pocket. :D

Following Lewis's GP win in Hungary it appears that Alonso is sulking and no longer talking to the Brit - I don't know why since I heard Alonso was only docked from the pole due to cheating. Who else can he blame apart from himself???? He is now ended up 7 pts clear at the top from Alonso and over 20 pts from Ferrari in 3rd place. That must be difficult for the Ferrari team to swallow.

Was the cheating bit the blocking Hamilton in the pits so he couldn't do a final lap? If so, that's just plain stupid. Alonso needs at least the threat of sacking, a ban, or a fine to sort his head out.

Yeah that was it. Alonso seems to be playing silly buggers at the moment, just hope that it doesn't affect Hamilton too much as he deserves a clean run to go for the championship. To my mind Alonso seems to think he is God and has got serious bruised ego syndrome.

The Turkish Grand Prix qualifing was good with very close runners at the top of the table. Massa followed by Hamilton then Kimi and fourth with Alonso - their times about half a second apart. Aparently all is good and happy at the McClaren garage now - like we believe that! :D

The world championship is down to 3 pts between Alonso and Hamilton now which must be stressful for the Brit! Only 50 pts left for grabs - hope it goes well for them now! :D

ooooh! Scandal. McLaren has been been stripped of all their constructor's points in the SpyGate row with Ferrari and fined $100 euro. . . . that will teach them for stealing technical documents.
