Reign in your excitement ladies and gent but there is going to be a Spice Girls announcement made today. I would guess they are running out of money and need to reform, whadda you think?!

Well, I hardly imagine they're running out of money, at least not Mrs Beckham. I wouldn't say no to a few hundred thousand or whatever it is they'd make from a reunion tour.

They aren't planning to release another album are they? I don't want to have to gouge my ears out with a spoon.

They have decided to reform. Roll out the bunting and get the beers out. We need the bunting to celebrate and the beers to numb the pain.

They will be looking to earn millions each, not hundreds of thousands. They have a particular lifestyle to support.

Pity they never could sing, didn't really dance too well, but I suppose they did know how to wear very little without actually falling out of it, well, most of the time anyway.

Excellent, i say! they did what they did very well, and no one's really bettered them. Their first album is pop d'excellence! :) p.s. does anyone else think Posh has had another boob job?

Well, I can think of better pop albums, although I suspect my definition of "pop" may be slightly skewed (I'm currently back to rounding out my black metal collection). Get me really drunk and I might just sing along to them. Mel C was the most talented singer of the lot of them, the rest are average but their attitude and the whole girl-power thing carried them.

I think Posh has just found an excellent corset-maker, those things do add a bit of uplift. Or possibly both?

I really don't know about their bust size . . . . however I suppose their whole charm was based on a don't care excitement and fun. I don't know if they will be able to pull off the same 10 years older and, lets be honest, more settled and comfortable.

They will have alot to live up to with reformings from Take That etc.

I think they'll do well and then fizzle out but certainly the careers of Mel C, Geri and Emma B will be revitalised in either reality television or the music business. I think Mel B has done it for money to help her out after the custody battle with Eddie Murphy and needs money because she's apparently broke. Victoria has probably done it because she hopes it will help her crack the lucrative American market but she won't because she's crap.

Hum, Claire's post has left me a little unsure as to the reality of Posh's busom. . . . maybe we should gather the photographic evidence then go to LA to do a 'hands on' inspection to make sure. . . . .

Actually, I don't think she is that attractive so I nominate Al to go and conduct the experiments. . . .
