Fitter and stronger is always good! I need to get back into the swing of things again and start some exercising, and you've all encouraged me slightly to do a bit more. Maybe we need a kind of exercise support group?

If it had been nicer weather some more sunshine events would have helped. We could have been to the park frequently! Or, why don't we start a five a-side football team?! That will get us fitter! :D

Apart from when we're laid up with broken ankles and torn hamstrings! Would be a good idea in the intervening periods though.

If there was around 10 of us then we could just own the pitch ourselves at one of those JJB soccer stadiums. I would do that because I would be with like-minded people who were slightly competitive but not overly ''I'm gonna break your legs to win the ball'' competitive.

The ahove is my main reason for not wanting to join a league because I would no doubt find myself up against a Manc tosser who thought he had the skills of Wayne Rooney and was going to prove it. When in actual fact, he had the face of Wayne Rooney.

A very good idea Andy, now all we need to do is find 10 people who will turn up regularly.

The Bolton Arena has a load of pitches as well. Plus it's got a train station next door for those who don't drive.
