Genius Monopoly revitalised!

Post by Mike »

I am amazed that Monopoly is still going strong with this online poll. The next version of the board will be based on the cities which have received the most votes!

Manchester is currently just off the board with 3327 votes in 27 place. We need to get this great stinking city into the Old Kent Road position! Come on people by the power of the forum VOTE! :D

I reckon there are some very bored uni students voting on every pc they can find. Why else would places like Dundee, Loughborough and Keele have so many votes?

You can vote once a day so I'm going to make sure I go back every morning!

I personally feel that this is bollocks (even though I've voted)
Why have some of those non-descript towns and not Edinburgh or Manchester?

I have this feeling that the people who make Monopoly will 'find' some votes from somewhere to get Manchester and Edinburgh in there and just have a couple of places like Slough or Milton Keynes to represent the rest of the UK.

Oh No! Manchester is now 30th. Come on people we need to get the greatest city in the North West gets into the top 22. We only need 2000 more people to vote and get the Old Kent Road place. :D

Sorry Mike but I had to vote for Salford once I realised it was there as an option.

The votes are now being counted and verified. They are live on the Web, please do not swear. The results will be released in OCTOBER????!!!! I did not realise it would take them that long to check, unless they are going to re-arrange some of the voting to make sure the Bigger Cities get into the right sort of place.

I voted intermittantly in the hope manchester would get above 6k worth of votes. . . . I don't think it go many more than that in the end. Did not vote every day though.

The cities of the UK have been selected and posted on the Monopoly Here and Now website. Manchester has been selected though I don't know how they can actually say that as we were millions of votes off the main drag. Liverpool is in the Old Kent Road square which I think is a little harsh. . . .
