Cool! A F1 Night race has been approved for Singapore for the 2008 calendar. That should be an interesting one to catch.

I assume they're proposing that it'll be floodlit or something? Torches strapped to the drivers' helmets won't be very aerodynamic.

Has India got one because Bernie wanted one over there.

Alsono has left McClaren! That is a turn up for the books! Though with only Red Bull and Renault being potentials he may be in for a shock! :D

Its not a turn up in my books. I always thought he would leave at the end of the season. His comments throughout the season about Hamilton, Ron Dennis and the team had made his position pretty much untenable.

OR could Ferrari offer him the job in front of Massa and offload Massa next year? OR even Raikkonen go to Maclaren?

Alonso will not go to a rubbish team, that is for sure. Also, if I was an owner of a decent team I would want a guy who has finished in the top three for the last three years and has 2 championships to his name.

This begs another question as well. If they don't go for Raikkonen, who will they go for? Another rookie?

Michael Schumacher is returning to test the new Ferrari car! Cool! It will be interesting to see him in the driving seat again.

Ross Brawn may be moving to Honda as the team principal! It is expected to be announced today after he failed to reach an agreement with Ferrari to become the Principal. Now that would be a major coup! If they managed to get that and Japan give him a free reign it could spell a major era for the team - especially late 08 to 09 season.

I played the F1 game on the PS3 yesterday - it was amazing. I really wish they would hurry up and bring out a similar game on the Wii. The speed was fantastic and on the first lap I managed to actually spin on the first corner - it was so easy to do, I turned the wheel whilst braking - I know, school boy error! :D

Ex formula one star Juan Pablo Montoya managed to finish 20th in his first season as a nascar racer. Apparently this is quite good and he was named rookie of the year. This is impressive since he is one of the most experienced drivers on the grid (though not in nascar!).

Did anyone see Hamilton in Top Gear last night? He was a star in a reasonably priced car! The stig was supposed to be amazed by his driving time in the cold and wet weather too! :D

Oh and he was compared to Ayrton Senna in the motor sport awards which is really flattering!

Hamiltons lap was rather nice. He just missed coming top, and if they'd used the usual "two to three seconds slower in the wet" calculation, he totally blew everyone away. Rawr.

Richard Hammond in the Formula One car was fun to watch. Lots of "ooooh myyyyy Gooood!" as he accelerated down the straights.

The track was oily as well courtesy of that ridiculous Australian thing spewing the stuff all over the place (although it could well have been beer), so all in all to be 3 milli-seconds short of The Stig's time was pretty amazing...and I don't think he was taking it 100% serious!

I'm quite surprised the F1 car didn't rip Richard's head off, the power to weight ratio of that thing was incredible!

Fernando Alonso has cemented my opinion on his personality of being a big baby with his reported move back to Renault! His 'bad' season at McClaren was a third in the drivers championship talk about a bad looser.
