I didn't think Evanescence were still together. I know Amy Lee is still going, but I thought Evanescence had split.Fez wrote:this will probably be bleeding obvious once you spell it out, but who are MCR, taobst?
as for green day, they're still winning things for american idiot
evanescence are working on their second album, as is the thoroughly gorgeous Melissa Auf De Maur
more crucially, i want to know when are metallica getting back in the studio, why haven't they performed in manchester since 1998, and just what will big rob do on the bass for his creative debut. oh, and why won't dave mustaine drop dead
not to my knowledge, but i stopped bothering to read kerrang! long ago when i believed the hype about funeral for a friend - i saw them in manchester supporting iron maiden and i can say without fear of contradication they were THE worst band i have ever seen live. and the first album was shit as well.TAOWBST wrote:I thought Evanescence had split.
what this has to do with evanescence is simple - when i stopped getting kerrang i stopped finding out anything about these bands in rock's supposed spotlight, so you could well be right, but a second album was the last thing i heard about them.
these days, i find out everything i want to know about important rock music at http://www.metallica.com
PS - needless to say, i am a fanclub member
I came, I saw, I bought the T-shirt
I don't read kerrang. Watch the channel though, thats good. I find all I need to know from my friends. But yeah according to my sources, evanescence have split but I think Amy Lee is planning a new album or somthing but not heard anything of her for quite a while.Fez wrote:

Oh and if it was needless to say, why say it?
Yet somewhat ironically, I don't ever recall reading a post of yours that contains a single capital letter.Fez wrote:because having known some of the people who use this site for many years, i know that some of them need the bleeding obvious stated to them directly - some times in capital letters with neon lights and a marching band just to be on the safe side.
