This guy still has it, he has managed to take create a whole new show with a bit of influence from his 1997 tour and all brand spanking new material. I was sitting there in the second half of the show with my stomach hurting, tears streaming down my face and unable to stop laughting. Congratulations to Mr Elton for loosing none of his edge or flare in the stand up comedy stakes.
Glad you enjoyed it! Personally, I'm a bit undecided based on what I've seen of him live, but my memory sucks, so I shall trust your views on this one. He's usually pretty good, though.
I thoroughly enjoyed it as well- plus you have to admire the skill of being able to get up in front of 100's of people and keep talking (and more inportantly - keep them entertained ) for 2 hours !!
