Several Hundred Thoasand photos
That is the number of photographs of my Mum, Sue, that have been circulated with the Daily Mail on Sunday. She has featured on an advert sheet from Jessops, now that is the pure fame! Well done Mum (obviously it was your intention for your photo to be published soooo many times!)
Wo-Hoo!
PS The circulation figure for DM in October is 2.35 million!

Please God don't buy the Daily Mail, it's a complete rag. But congratulations to Sue! People can now have a vague sense of "do I recognise...?" when they pass you in the street.
Heh, just found out my Mum's on the front of the Cumberland & Westmorland Herald, which has slightly less readers (40,000, and some sheep), protesting. Famous mothers galore.

Maybe I should change the thread title to how famous is your Mum?
Is the Cumberland & Westmoreland Herald a good read mr_e? I suspect it has more news in it compared with the Daily Mail (not my paper of choice, as you might have guessed!)

That's rather cunning
That's rather cunning, publishing the names of the convicted. Must be particularly tricky when ticking the old 'previous convictions' box, would kinda make it obsolete. I hope and am confident that your infamous name would never have appeared in print in that particular section
There's nowt wrong with the Women's Institute - my mum goes with her friends and they do all sorts of interesting stuff, like having people in to do talks about magnets. yes, i scoffed too but apparently it was on the alternative medicine theme. Also, my mum's friend's husband came up with the quaint WI renaming of Willy Inspecting which is obviously hilarious!
Alas, my mum is not famous. Although, when she grew up in Preston they knew Mark Lawrensen cos his dad ran the local post office, or some such place! I'm sooo starting a claims to fame discussion.
The crazy gets claustrophobic!
