Ahem. Oooops. We were just so relieved that we did not think about the time. It seemed like not time at all had passed.

Literally just in time. Apparently the latent phase is way more worrying and painful than the actual labour. This is because you don't know when the latent phase will end. Good luck to your teacher friend! The home birth was good but I think it has some complications - such as having to go and have the baby's hearing tested.
Glad to hear that its all progressing properly. I think I speak for everyone when I say... WHERE ARE THE PHOTOS?!?!
You've been on here about 5times today and no photos! (I wanna see if she's got more hair than her dad! I KNOW she'll have more than me already )
P.s. you've been strangely quiet on the things learned today thread Mike, surely you've learned the odd thing or two today?!
Hiya we are watching her very carefully at the moment! Us and a team of skilled health care professionals unfortunately - Amelia was not feeding very well for the first two days despite our best efforts. After coming into hospital for a check up they suspect she may have an infection so she is now on a drip giving her all the fluids, nutrition and anti-biotics she needs. We will be in hospital for at least 48 hours.
She gave Mum and Dad a bit of a scare I can tell you!
Still, she's in the best place possible I guess. Get well soon Amelia, you'll be making your Daddy's hair go grey with worry (what hair he's still got anyway... ).
Nothing says "romance" like a kidnapped injured woman!
At the moment I am optimistic she will get better. Fraught is a good word! I felt like I ha totally let her down when she went into hospital but understand that this is the best place for her to get better. It's really stessful for us both but now I know the opening times for the restaurant I hope regular food will make me feel better! Amelia feeding will make her Mum feel better!
Michael how could you have let her down!!! You have both done everything you can to keep her safe and because of that she IS GOING TO GET BETTER!!!!
The fact that you took her to the hospital and have stayed by her side night and day shows that she is one lucky baby to have a mummy and daddy like you two now xxxxxxxxxxxx
I should get an mp3 and put it over the first Baby video! Baby looks like she is finally getting the Breast Feeding concept which is great! Muchly relieved. The midwives on Maternity 3 are very good. It took them about 1.5 hours to come up with a solution!
