Basic Instinct 2

Post by Mike »

Has anyone seen the poster for BI2? I mean it is over 14 years since her first outing in BI and the poster shows her head in the the most ghoulish and frightening aspect I have ever seen! Her skin looks like it has been streached over her skull in a most disturbing way.

I don't think I could bear to watch the film after seeing the poster!

That does sound slightly disturbing...

Cant say I'll be seeing it either- I wonder who it was that thought "Hmm, I know exactly what the world needs, a sequel to Basic Instinct 14 years after it was released". Talk about running out of ideas!

Rarely is something truely original.

Sharon Stone is copying a famous pose created by the photography of Lewis Morley and featuring Christine Keeler. It is one of the most iconic images of the 1960s. In that photograph she is extremely sexy. In her version, Sharon Stone is extremely scary. Victoria Beckham tried to do it in the mid 90s and looked like a slut (not difficult really).

I am intrigued by the film because it has a cameo role for Stan Collymore. I would like to see if it has any ''dogging'' or football references
